Housein M. Wazaz, MD, AGAF, FACG, FACP, trained in Internal Medicine at the Cornell Medical Center and Gastroenterology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.  Dr. Wazaz completed a fellowship at the UMDNJ New Jersey Meducak for Hepatology and Liver Transplants. 

Dr. Wazaz has been practicing since 1994, the last 17 years in formerly known as Midstate Medical Center now Hartford Healthcare.  Dr. Wazaz’s practice specializes in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Digestive Disorders.

Dr. Wazaz has been a pioneer in non-invasive treatment of hemorrhoids since 2003 and he has performed hundreds of hemorrhoids banding in the office.

Dr. Wazaz is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, and American College of Physicians: American Society of Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Wazaz is board certified in Internal Medicine, Dentistry, and Gastroenterology.
